Ringier is a multinational integrated media company. Founded in 1833, Ringier is carrying print, broadcast, radio, online and mobile media brands, and is a successful player in the printing, entertainment and internet business.

As a Swiss family-company with headquarters in Zurich, the company has around 7000 employees in 10 countries in Asia and in Central and Eastern Europe. Ringier set its foot in the China market in early 1990s, and now have four subsidiaries in China - Ringier China Advertising Co., Ltd, Asia Inflight Ltd., Ringier Trade Publishing Ltd., and Ringier Print (HK) Ltd. In cooperation with its publishing partners in China, Ringier China operates a range of consumer titles such as Betty’s Kitchen monthly cooking magazine, City Weekend bi-weekly English city lifestyle magazines, Shanghai Family monthly parenting magazine, CAAC inflight monthly magazine, as well as the multimedia line extensions for these publications such as websites, online video programs, mobile applications, digital magazines, books, and custom publishing service. Ringier has business operations in major cities in China, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, with a total number of over 400 employees.

Asia Inflight Limited was founded in Hong Kong in 1992. It became 100% owned subsidiary of the Swiss publishing group, Ringier AG in 2003. In 1994, Asia Inflight Limited became the exclusive advertisement agent of CAAC Inflight Magazine. CAAC Inflight Magazine is the official inflight publication of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). The magazine is circulated on-board of all Chinese Airlines, including Air China Ltd., China Southern Airlines Co. Ltd, China Eastern Airlines Co. Ltd, and 6 independent airlines. With 320,000 copies monthly circulation (audited by HKABC), .it is the only inflight magazine with a national coverage in Mainland China.

Ringier Print (HK) Limited commenced operation in March 1989 in the name of Times Ringier (HK) Limited. In October 2001, Ringier AG of Switzerland acquired the entire shareholdings of Times Publishing Limited.
